Due to COVID-19 implications, including but not limited to, travel restrictions, public health directives, Manitoba Education directives, conference availability and the unknowns regarding school re-opening, temporary changes to the fund guidelines are necessary.

As such the PPDF committee approved the following interim changes to the fund guidelines at their May meeting:

• Applications will not be accepted in June for 2020-2021 events

• On September 21, 2020, members may apply for first term 2020-2021 professional development events

• Given the current circumstances, members are encouraged to:

  • look for online professional development opportunities

  • consider the Collaborative Professional Learning Projects (CPLP) funding option
