RETTA members,
I wanted to take a quick minute to let you know about a PPDF opportunity that you may not be aware of.
The Personal Professional Development Fund (PPDF) gives teachers an opportunity to collaborate with other like-minded teachers across the division to focus on problems of practice to improve instruction and ultimately student learning. This Collaborative Professional Learning Projects (CPLP) funding is available for groups of four or more and can take the form of action research and/or study groups.
I encourage you to check out the guidelines, particularly page one and section IV. 6 for details. This could be a great opportunity for you and some colleagues to work together to reach some new professional learning goals. Click here for the link the to PPDF page to take a look at the new CPLP documents.
